If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, you can enjoy all of the Office desktop apps that you’re familiar with, like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Publisher. To download and install these apps, you need to go to www.office.com and click the Install button. To avoid a huge file size, instead of a full Office apps setup, a small Office installer file will get downloaded to your PC. When you run the setup, Microsoft will download the apps from the internet to install them on your PC. If you don't have Microsoft 365 subscription but you can still able to access the Microsoft Office suite

There is one way to use Microsoft Office 2016 or 2019 for free 

To use the office for free Microsoft have its online cloud-based office site Go to the office.com website and create a Microsoft Account if you have not created it yet then sign in to office.com.Then click on the plus icon or click on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc... whatever application you want to work on.

And the most important thing is that you have a good internet connection so as you type or doing your work it will immediately save on one drive
